2012 Election Cycle:  We of the Hard Right need to be there.  We need to take point this cycle - we've seen what happens when we permitted the Tea Party crowd to run things.  The real Tea Party folks are our allies, and those who claim the Tea Party Brand as they chase the power and perks of Washington...not so much.

We need to be clear on one matter, Patriots.  Politics is a vital aspect of this Polygonal Battlespace.  We can not afford to neglect politics, nor can we simply wait to permit others to select candidates, then choose the least offensive.  We must identify, recruit and cultivate candidates who share III values and then do the work to get them into office.  It will take hard work.

Understanding the fact that we can not afford to ignore politics, we must not devote so much energy to politics that we neglect prepping and other aspects of prudent action.  The economy may fail before we get to 2012, which means we need to pivot to Plan B.  But, if we make it to the 2012 elections and we have squandered the political opportunity, we'll never get it back.

I mentioned this over the weekend, and it bears repeating: Even if you think politics doesn't matter at this point, I urge you to consider that if the economy tanks or some other form of collapse occurs, Continuity of Government protocols will go into effect.  Those politicians who are currently in office will end up in bunkers, taking decisions in our names.

Target: I am going to devote my efforts to electing
III Approved candidates into the US House.  As I have said before, I think that is the most important ground to take and hold in this battle election cycle.  Please do not forget, for even a moment, that this election cycle is a battle for the existence of Liberty in America.

State Legislatures are just as important, though far more numerous.  If we managed to encourage a strong coalition of States who are willing to wield economic leverage, to stand up and assert States Rights, Fed power could be blunted.  Look at the States and what they contribute to the economy.  Any coalition including Alaska, Texas, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Georgia and Florida as a core group would not only wield brutal economic force, but also electoral.

But there are only so many hours in a day, and a limited number of days in the next 23 months.  So, I am going to thrust for the US House.  There is no reason why we can not set up our House efforts and create a template that will work well for State races.  I hope many of you will take the responsibility to work on the race for your US Representative, as well as your State level races.

Platform: Candidates run on a Platform, which is typically a simple list of issues upon which they intend to stand and promote to earn votes.  We of the III Community must build a Platform that satisfies most of us, hopefully 80% of us will agree on about 80% of the Platform.  That will be a strong Platform.

Once we have decided to move forward with an agreed Platform, we begin finding potential candidates and we use our Platform as a litmus test.

An effective Platform will appeal to the III Community and it must be crafted in such a way to appeal - or at least to not offend - the voters of the political middle.  Social and Cultural issues can not be part of the Platform if we want it to succeed.  But, if we recruit strong Constitutionalist candidates, then our social issues will take care of themselves.  You know where most III candidates stand on GGG issues, we don't need to make it an argument during a campaign.  Get our Team elected, they know what we want.

The Economy is the singular issue of import to Americans during the 2012 cycle.  If we stay on-topic with smart positions regarding the Economy, we can win a significant number of House races.

The moment our candidates begin debating abortion or God in schools, we lose the middle and the race.

I drafted a Platform about two 2 weeks ago just to see if there was interest.  Concerned American picked it up and improved on my effort, and reading the comments at his site made it clear that there are those of us who see value to the premise.  So, below I have melded the first 2 versions into Platform format, and labeled it Version 2.0.  I think we should spread it across the III Community and refine it, and see where we end up.

So, I offer the 2012 III Political Platform v2.0 for your consideration:

Consider this Platform.  Spread it to III websites to start the discussion.  Consider the realities that obtain in the world of Politics, and getting a Candidate elected.  If we have overlooked an essential item, or if we come to consensus that an item should be dropped for practical reasons, speak up.

I think this political Platform will appeal widely on the Right and Hard Right beyond the III Community, earning wide support.  But the reality remains: The job is simply not getting done to our satisfaction.  The folks running various elements of the Tea Party are not chasing the same outcomes as are we.  Too many of them are willing to compromise.

I'm not a compromise kind of guy.

Those of us who self-identify as a member of the III Community pride ourselves on taking point, on action, rather than simply spouting rhetoric that goes nowhere.  We are not afraid of taking fire, and we will fight on every necessary front to rid our republic of the Collectivist filth who are enslaving us and our posterity.

So, let us step up now and lead the Hard Right with our own brand of no-compromise values and lead our Countrymen back to a Constitutional republic.  III Percent Patriots are not rabid, blood-thirsty radicals who must be restrained by more pragmatic elements of the Right from starting a violent war.

We are simply Patriots who are finished passively backing up.  We are Patriots who have decided to take action...and if you are an enemy of the Liberty of the republic, stand aside, shut your mouth, or face the consequences of trying to enslave a group of men and women who have no intention of accepting the chains.

Remember: The concept of the III Percent is a matter of historical fact and state of mind.  It is not a club or private group.  No Patriot need submit an application to any Leader seeking acceptance, and no entity may strip you of the III Percent title.

If you are an American who shares the ideals of that historic III Percent of Americans who took arms against the King and took to the field when we needed serious men and women who were willing to fight, kill and die for the ideal of Liberty, you are a III Percent Patriot.

Now is the time to be prepared for a Ruckus...and to fight with all of our passion on the political front, so that our children may be spared the ugliness of violence.

How do you know when you have made the Bigs?

You catch a Federal case.

When you earn real attention from our Masters, you'll know it...usually after it is too late.  Our Masters will tolerate quite a bit from folks, even Patriots who are rabble-rousing.  They really don't care if you are stocking up on rice and beans, even rifles and bullets.  They don't care if you call them names or incite a few misdemeanors or send them snarky little letters.  If you are trying to get their attention and you have not yet caught a Federal case, it's still amateur hour...or maybe you are valuable to them...

It's when you start to have an impact on the flow of dollars that you will earn real interest.  Write a report that negatively impacts the stock value of a few Fortune 50 companies, and you will soon have a genuine understanding of the term Lawfare. 

You may also be schooled on Constructive Possession.

There are many lessons you may be taught.  Right Now.

You will learn inside baseball details about the US Code that will make you ill. 

The world begins to move very, very quickly. 

You will be faced with stark choices that have never entered your mind, because you think you understand the rules.

You do not understand the rules, until you have been inside the machine.

Then your options are put on the table: 2 years if you take the deal, or 20 if you fight...and we'll add a Conspiracy case for your little dog, too...

You will learn that the power of a US Attorney is crushing.

Do not make it easy to take you out of play, Patriot.

And, it is oh, so easy...if they ever decide to do it.

The choice is theirs...not yours.

Truth, Justice & the American Way?

Not so much.

The DOJ conviction rate is 95% in a bad year, and pushes above 98% according to some stats.  The deck is not only stacked in their favor, they own the deck.  And the card table.  And the casino.  Do you understand?

Can you name any Federal bureaucracy that runs at a minimum 95% efficiency rate?  What does that tell you?

Do not make the mistake of thinking that you intimidate them just because they have not yet chosen to come for you...

The Point: If you are trying to incite Big Brother to notice you, go for it!  But, man up and roll bigger dice.

If you would prefer to make your preparations for it with relative impunity, just go about your business and avoid taking actions that will make it easy for Them to take you out of play, and do not give them a reason to take you out of play.  Don't telegraph about the details of your preparations or defensive measures.  Don't put a pistol in your belt, against your local laws, unless you are willing to use it when LEO spots you in the convenience store.  Avoid gratuitous violence.

Do not draw hyperbolic lines in the sand.  When you draw lines in the sand that you do not defend, it reveals you for what you are deep in your Soul...and some of that bad energy splatters on us, too.

There will be plenty of opportunities for a fight, if you want one, soon enough.  Be smart, stay off the radar, so that any fight you engage will be on your terms.
