An atemi is a strike in traditional Japanese martial arts, as opposed to a joint lock, choke or throw.  When used in the Aiki arts, it is not usually a killing blow, though it can be if one targets the temple, throat or solar plexus.  Typically one uses an atemi to break the balance of the enemy, creating the opportunity for a lethal or otherwise catastrophic technique.

For anyone who ever watched Royce Gracie tangled up on the mat with an opponent, you will have seen Royce delivering what seem to be weak, ineffective blows to the other guys ribs or side of the head.  These strikes are diversionary atemi, designed not to end the fight directly, but instead to get the opponent to move his arm, or turn his head away from the annoying blows...offering the neck or some other fight-ending opportunity.

It works. 

Continuing the thought process from the weekend about how Government conditions us (SEAL Training & Trained Seals), one can also equate the actions of Government with atemi.  The sharp, expertly applied strikes from TSA are designed to elicit a response.  They want our attention here, as they set up another attack there.  The next attack will surely hurt much more.  Concerned American warns us to watch the other hand.

Consider: If we accept the premise that Government intends to be our Master with a much heavier hand than we have upon us now, and we understand that our current Administration comes from a place on the Political Left that subscribes to Alinsky and Mao, is it not reasonable to conclude that the recent actions against the fundamental aspects of our economy and Liberty are designed to collapse the system?

The Left of Mao, Che, and Stalin believe in the moral propriety of revolution for the cause by any means necessary.  The Leftist will starve you to death, will permit your illnesses to go untreated, will eventually, when strong enough, brazenly put the muzzle of a weapon to your head and pull the trigger if you continue to resist.

America has been under assault from Collectivist forces for generations.  From a strategic perspective, if one wants to deliver the final blow to America she must be weakened from within by ruining her morals and economy, to make her fragile.

We are there. 

The final blow would be to orchestrate an economic perfect storm, economic pandemonium...then push!

The push?

Outrage sensibilities by broaching the physical barrier.

Take their balance with a series of well-executed atemi, then go for the throat!

Start a Ruckus!  Push the People, and push them so hard they have no choice but to push back!

People can debate and argue and shout, but once the physical barrier is broached, the fight becomes physical. It is no longer confined to the ideological realm.

Do you not understand that putting hands on your wife and children is a deliberate attempt to escalate the political and ideological fight in this country to the physical?!

The goal is to provoke a series of incidents that will escalate to the point Government may plead that they are obligated to impose a heavy hand...for the public good.

If having Government in the panties of your child is not enough to act as a tripwire - and it seems it may not be! - then as CA predicts, they will take it to another level, and another, until we snap!  They will begin roadblocks and checkpoints, or subways and trains, perhaps even street corners, or other means of State oppression and intrusion learned from thousands of years of human history.

That is the way of Mao and Alinsky and Stalin...and the American Left. 

They have decided that they are ready for the next step.  They look at the chessboard and have determined that they have the pieces where they need to be for victory.

Government going knuckles-deep in you and your family is their invitation for us to escalate, because they have prepared the ground to fight on their terms.

This is a Revolution from the Left, Patriots.  Understand the rules, before it is too late.  There are no rules. 

The Left will never cease until they are dead.  For the Left, their way is the only moral avenue for humanity.

Why do you think there seems to be so little concern about a second elected term???

How do you know when you have made the Bigs?

You catch a Federal case.

When you earn real attention from our Masters, you'll know it...usually after it is too late.  Our Masters will tolerate quite a bit from folks, even Patriots who are rabble-rousing.  They really don't care if you are stocking up on rice and beans, even rifles and bullets.  They don't care if you call them names or incite a few misdemeanors or send them snarky little letters.  If you are trying to get their attention and you have not yet caught a Federal case, it's still amateur hour...or maybe you are valuable to them...

It's when you start to have an impact on the flow of dollars that you will earn real interest.  Write a report that negatively impacts the stock value of a few Fortune 50 companies, and you will soon have a genuine understanding of the term Lawfare.

There are many lessons you may be taught.  Right Now.

You will learn inside baseball details about the US Code that will make you ill. 

The world begins to move very, very quickly. 

You will be faced with stark choices that have never entered your mind, because you think you understand the rules.

Truth, Justice & the American Way?

Not so much.

The DOJ conviction rate is 95% in a bad year, and pushes above 98% according to some stats.  The deck is not only stacked in their favor, they own the deck.  And the card table.  And the casino.  Do you understand?

Can you name any Federal bureaucracy that runs at a minimum 95% efficiency rate?  What does that tell you?

Do not make the mistake of thinking that you intimidate them just because they have not yet chosen to come for you...

The Point: If you are trying to incite Big Brother to notice you, go for it!  But, man up and roll bigger dice.

If you would prefer to make your preparations for it with relative impunity, just go about your business and avoid taking actions that will make it easy for Them to take you out of play, and do not give them a reason to take you out of play.  Don't telegraph about the details of your preparations or defensive measures.  Don't put a pistol in your belt, against your local laws, unless you are willing to use it when LEO spots you in the convenience store.  Avoid gratuitous violence.

Do not draw hyperbolic lines in the sand.  When you draw lines in the sand that you do not defend, it reveals you for what you are deep in your Soul...and some of that bad energy splatters on us, too.

There will be plenty of opportunities for a fight, if you want one, soon enough.  Be smart, stay off the radar, so that any fight you engage will be on your terms.
